Are YOU Getting The Nutrients YOU Need?
We are pleased to offer our clients an intense, thorough diagnostic testing done by SpectraCell Laboratories.
What is the SpectraCell Micronutrient Test?
SpectraCell Laboratories developed their exclusive, patented micronutrient tests to measure the function of selected vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other essential micronutrients within your white blood cells.
Analysis can reveal a person’s functional nutrient status over a much longer time period than conventional serum testing. SpectraCell’s tests give a more meaningful measurement of nutritional status than all other nutritional testing.
Why nutrients are so important?
• Vitamin, mineral and antioxidant deficiencies have been shown to suppress the function of the immune system, which can contribute to degenerative processes such as arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, to name a few.
• Even in non-lethal, chronic illnesses (including fibromyalgia, digestive, mood and autoimmune disorders) researchers have identified nutritional therapies that may be beneficial in reducing the incidence or severity of these diseases.
• Many commonly prescribed medications can contribute to nutritional deficiencies; these include certain antibiotics, anti-depressants, anti-inflammatories and cardiovascular drugs.
Although, you may eat a balanced diet, exercise, and take a multivitamin, you may be still deficient in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and/or other essential micronutrients (See nutrient list below), and not even know it!
Because each of us is metabolically and biochemically unique, the micronutrient requirements for one person may be quite different than the requirements for another.
Although you may eat a balanced diet, if you do not absorb vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and/or other essential micronutrients properly, you will have deficiencies.
Health conditions such as arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, fatigue and multiple sclerosis, to name a few, can be affected, directly or indirectly, by micronutrient deficiencies.
Our micronutrient requirements at age 30 are quite different from our requirements at age 40, 50 and beyond. Absorption difficulties, especially of vitamin B12, quite commonly occur as we age.
Excessive physical activity, prescription drugs, smoking, alcohol and sedentary habits all impact micronutrient demands.
That's why, we strongly recommend you to invest in your health and get this test done! If you are interested, please contact us at 202-749-8657 or email@example.com, so we can discuss the test further and schedule you in for an appointment.
